Upper Level Acro Teacher
We're seeking an experienced Acro instructor to teach our upper level Acro class, Thursdays at 8:00pm.
Part-Time Finance Administrator
Join our awesome growing team! We're a dance and performing arts organization with two studio locations, a performing arts center, and affiliated nonprofits. We're looking for a part-time Finance Administrator to keep the financial side of our operation accurate, current, and well-organized.
This is a behind-the-scenes role with real ownership. You'll work closely with our bookkeeper and studio leadership, and you'll be the person families and staff rely on to get the numbers right.
What You'll Do
- Administer payroll, PTO, and retirement plan contributions
- Reconcile credit card and uncategorized expenses in coordination with our bookkeeper
- Pull income reports from our studio management software and categorize them for monthly close
- Manage and collect accounts receivable across both studio locations
- Process tuition and program fee charges, and track adjustments to payment plans
- Track and bill season-specific fees tied to our two major annual productions
- Coordinate with our nonprofit's treasurers on fund transfers and reimbursements
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional attention to detail — small errors in tuition and payroll have a way of becoming big conversations, and we need someone who catches them first
- Resourcefulness — you'll encounter situations our documentation doesn't cover, and we want someone who digs in, figures it out, and asks good questions rather than waiting to be told
- Experience with bookkeeping, accounts receivable, payroll, or small-business finance administration
- Comfort learning new software systems; we'll train you on ours
- Discretion and professionalism with confidential family and employee information
- Clear, responsive communication
Schedule and Logistics
This role is remote, with a handful of required in-person meetings each month. Mondays through Wednesdays bi-weekly are payroll prep days, so availability on those days is critical. Beyond that, we're flexible about when the hours happen.
Send your resume to Lisa@balancedancestudios.com.
